The meat is so tender that even the 'lesser parts' can be prepared in next to no time. At the exhibition in Maastricht top chef Hans van Wolde of the new gourmet restaurant Beluga gave a demonstration. He grilled a Wagyu steak for two minutes on each side, something that is impossible with normal European beef.
